Getting Started

Data as a Service (DaaS) is a cloud-based product that gives you access to Tax reporting information for your organization.

Many of the tax reports are available in DaaS. To open the My Reports page in the navigation panel, click Reports > My Reports.

Many of the tax images are available in DaaS. To open the Images page in the navigation panel, click Images > Tax > Image Search.

Navigation Panel

Click this icon:

  • Navigation panel icon. to open the navigation panel.
  • Pin icon. to keep the navigation panel open while you work.

The navigation panel shows the pages and features available to you in DaaS Tax.

DaaS Tax Home page

The Home page is a dashboard with links to the available Tax services and other information.

To return to the Home page, in the navigation panel, click Home.

Toolbar Options

Search icon. Search—Click to search for one or more specific tax reports and images.

Help icon. Help—Click to open Help in a separate browser window.

System Details icon. System Details—Click to:

  • Show your user name.
  • Open the Profile & Settings page.
  • Log out of DaaS.
  • Move back and forth between products. (This feature is available only if you have access to DaaS Tax and one or more DaaS products other than Tax.)

To open Help for a page, on the toolbar, click Help icon..

Search

Enter search terms in the Search field and then press Enter or click Search icon..

Navigation Panel

The Help navigation panel (TOC) opens on the right or left side, depending on the screen size of your computer or device.

Expanding and Collapsing Sections of Text

Many Help topics have sections that expand when you click a heading.

  • After you expand a section, click the heading again to collapse the section.
  • To expand all sections on a Help topic, click Expand all icon..
  • To collapse all sections, click Expand all icon. again.

Printing Help Topics

Click the printer icon (Printer icon.) at the upper right of each help page to expand all collapsed text in the Help topic you're reading and print the Help topic.

Tip: You can also save the help topic to PDF.

Shortcut to the Home page

To return to the Home page in the Help, click Home icon..
