Use the Home page to access key information in Data as a Service (DaaS).

The Home page contains the basic navigation components and tool bars that other DaaS pages have. For detailed information, see the About Page Components topic.

Page content Top

The task pane is the section of the page that displays the page content. The task pane for the Home page displays user information and hyperlinks to DaaS services and features.

User information

User information that always appears on the upper left side of the Home page includes:

  • User name
  • User role
  • User picture or a picture place holder
  • A hyperlink to the Profile and Settings page.

Additional services and features

The following services and features allow you to:

  • Open additional pages or services to complete a task.
  • Display additional information on the Home Page.

My Reports Open the My Reports service.

These are the general categories of tax reports that customer users may have access to in the Reports menu. You have access to as many of these reports as you have been set up to use.

  • Affordable Care Act reports
  • Payment Solutions reports
  • Payroll Processing reports
  • Tax Reports
    • Annual reports
    • Periodic reports
    • Quarterly reports
Tax Images Open the Images service. Use this service to search for and select an image to preview or download.

You have access to the Images service if you have permission to use it.
Alerts/Action Needed

Display:

  • Product-specific alerts. Alerts can include information such as global maintenance notifications or client-specific messages.
  • Any new information or functionality related to the current or upcoming release.
Recent Reports Display a list of the ten reports or images you accessed most recently. Click the Reports or Images tabs, below Recent Reports, to choose which list you see.

For each report, the Reports list gives:

  • Report name
  • Date and time last accessed
  • A link to open the report ()

For each image, the Images list gives:

  • Image name
  • Image file size
  • Date and time last accessed
  • A link to preview the image ()
  • A link to download the image ()
What's New Display any new information or functionality related to the current or upcoming release.

When you log in to DaaS, the Home page appears.

During an active session, you can open the Home page from any DaaS page. To do this:

  1. In the navigation area at the upper left corner of the page, click Navigation menu icon..
  2. In the navigation panel that opens, click Home.

    Note: If you pin the navigation panel, it remains open on the left side of each page.
