In addition to the reporting services, the DaaS Administration feature provides security settings that control the type of information your company and your company's users can access.
Note: Depending on your company's configuration and your role, one or more of these services and features may not be available. The My Reports service is available to all users.

DaaS recognizes three user roles:
- Internal users
- Customer administrator users
- Customer users
Using a user management system, your company assigns one of the following roles to its users:
- Customer administrator user
- Customer user
When a user logs in to DaaS, the system recognizes the role and allows the user access associated with that role.

Use the My Reports service to review reports. This service provides access to all of the following types of reports that are available to your company:
- Powerpay Plus Standard reports
- Client Custom reports
User access
This service is available to all users.
Accessing reports
You can use either of the following tools to access reports:
- Navigation panel
- Global Search icon in the tool bar

The Adhoc Report Builder service is available as a standalone service or can be used with My Reports. Use the Adhoc Report Builder service to easily:
- Add new reports.
- Copy predefined starter reports and customize the starter reports to meet your specific needs.
User access
This service is available to:
- Internal users.

Customer administrators if the client purchases the service and administrators complete the required Powerpay Plus Adhoc Report Builder training.
- Customer users if a customer administrator assigns the customer user access.

The Dashboards service is available as a standalone service or can be used with My Reports. Use the Dashboard service to:
- View and export visual representations of your organization's data from DaaS.
Note: At this time, you can export data only. A future release will provide the ability to export graphs.
- Quickly identify the issues related to human capital that affect your company's ability to:
- Execute strategic initiatives.
- Meet business objectives.
This service contains several dashboards that each focus on a specific metric, such as headcount, and display a wide variety of key performance indicators (KPIs). Use these dashboards to quickly review summarized data from various sources as well as perform drill-down data analysis for a more in-depth look at the data.
At this time, this service provides dashboards that include information for the following HR and payroll reports:
- HR
- Employee Statistics
- Length of Service
- Employee List
- Payroll
- Payroll Data Earnings
- Payroll Department Statistics
- Employee List
Note: Your company's configuration setup determines the type of information (payroll, HR, or both) that displays in the Dashboards service.
User access
This service is available to:

Internal users and customer administrators if the client purchased it.
- Customer users if a customer administrator assigns the customer user access.

The Administration pages include the Client Configuration page and the User Access page.

User access
The Administration pages are available to Internal users and customer administrators only.

The primary page components for each DaaS page include the:
- Navigation panel
- Tool bar
- Task pane

To open the Help and navigate to a specific Help topic, do this:
- On any page in the task bar, click
.
The following information appears:
- Detailed Help for the page.
- On the left side of the page, the Help navigation panel displays the Help Table of Contents, which allows you to navigate to other Help topics.
- After you read the information, you can close the Help window or keep it open with the product.
