User Access
Use the User Access page to assign, review, and manage the Data as a Service (DaaS) security permissions for

This page displays information in the following sections:
Section | Description |

Users (not labeled) | On the left side of the page, this section displays all customer users who are assigned a DaaS user role in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) user management system. |

Product Access |
Displays the products available to the user in DaaS. Depending on the product you select and

Overall Access | Displays all services available to the user.
By default, all services that are activated for the client on the Client Configuration page are selected for the user. |
Dashboard Reports | Indicates whether the user can access Payroll dashboard reports, HR dashboard reports, or both.
Note: This subsection appears only if the Dashboard service is selected in the Overall Access subsection. |
Field Access | Contains the secure fields that are available to assign to users, which includes By default, the user is granted access to both fields. |
Folder Access | Contains |

The options selected for your company on the Client Configuration page determine the options available to assign to your company's users on the User Access page.
Tasks

- Open the User Access page.
How?
On the navigation panel, click Administration > User Access.
- In the Product Access section, if more than one product appears, select a product.
- In the Overall Access subsection, to:
- Assign the user access to a service, select the check box for the service.
- Remove the user's access to the service, clear the check box for the service.
- If the Field Access subsection appears on the page, to:
- Assign the user access to a field, select the check box for the field.
Note: You can select one or both fields.
- Remove the user's access to the field, clear the check box for the field.
- Assign the user access to a field, select the check box for the field.
- If the Dashboards service is activated for the client and the Dashboard Reports subsection appears, to:
- Assign the user access to dashboard information, select the check box for the dashboard.
Note: If more than one dashboard option appears, you can select one or both.
- Remove the user's access to a dashboard, clear the check box for the dashboard.
- Assign the user access to dashboard information, select the check box for the dashboard.
- In the Folder Access section, to:
- Assign the user access to client custom folders, select the check box for each folder you want the user to have access to.
- Remove the user's access to one or more folders, clear the check box for each folder that you no longer want the user to have access to.
- Click Save.
A confirmation message appears.
- To continue, click Ok.
Caution: At any time, you can assign or remove user access to client options that display in sections on this page. Whether you make changes to one or all sections, you must always click Save in the upper left corner of the page before you leave the page. If not, DaaS doesn't save your changes.
