Home

As with all other DaaS pages, the Home page contains the following page components:

• Navigation panel icons

  Located in the upper left corner of every page, use the navigation icons to:

  • Open the navigation panel, which is a menu of the DaaS available services and features.
  • Pin and unpin the navigation panel to DaaS pages.

• Tool bar

  Located in the upper right corner of each page, the tool bar includes icons that you use to:

  • Search for reports.
  • Open the online Help for DaaS.
  • Displays user details.

• Task pane

  The task pane is the section of the page that displays the page content. You use this section to review page information or perform a task on the page.

For detailed information about each page component, see About Page Components.

The task pane is the section of the page that displays the page content. The task pane for the Home page displays user information and hyperlinks to DaaS services and features.

User information

User information (not labeled) always appears on the upper left side of the Home page and includes:

• Client name
• User role
• User picture or a picture place holder
• A hyperlink to the Profile and Settings page.

Note: Depending on your company's configuration, one or more of the following services and features may not be available.

Additional services and features

The following services and features allow you to:

• Open additional pages or services to complete a task.
• Display additional information on the Home Page.

Additional Features and Services on the Home page

Click ...	To ...
My Reports	Open the My Reports service. Use this service to display a report in one of the following categories: Payroll Standard Reports Powerpay Standard reports Client Custom reports
Adhoc Report Builder	Open the Adhoc Report Builder service. Use this service to: Add new reports. Copy predefined starter reports and customize the copies to meet your company's specific needs.
Administration	Open the Client Configuration page. Use this page to review the configuration options that are selected for your company.
Alerts/Action Needed	Display: Product-specific alerts. Alerts can include information such as global maintenance notifications or client-specific messages. Any new information or functionality related to the current or upcoming release.
Recent Reports	Display a list of up to ten reports that you most recently accessed. For each report, the list includes: The name of the report. The last date and time that you accessed the report. A hyperlink to the report. To open the report, click the Link icon () associated with the report you want to open.
What's New	Display any new information or functionality related to the current or upcoming release.

When you log in to DaaS, your role determines when the Home page appears.

How to access the Home page depending on user type

If you are a ...	The Home page appears ...
Customer user or customer administrator	Immediately after you log in.
Internal user	After you select a client on the Client Search page.

During an active session, you can open the Home page from any DaaS page. To do this:

1. In the navigation area at the upper left corner of the page, click .
2. In the navigation panel that opens, click Home.

   Note: If you pin the navigation panel, it remains open on the left side of each page.
