Client ID

Note: This topic applies to the Dayforce Tax product only.

A unique identifier that Dayforce assigns to each tax filing organization. It's eight characters long (including a hyphen), can include numbers and letters, and is formatted like this: XXXXX-XX. The last two digits are the division. This Client ID is a key search value for many tax reports in DaaS.

For tax customers, the Client ID and the Collector Client ID are different identifiers for the same entity.

Though a customer's PSID is also sometimes referred to as the Client ID, the client's PSID is a different value.
