Why doesn't DaaS display pop-up windows?

Dayforce recommends that you change your Internet browser settings for pop-up windows to display correctly. To change your browser settings, in the following table, locate the Internet browser you use and follow the instructions.

Note: While you can enable pop-up blockers for all websites, this topic includes instructions for enabling pop-up blockers for the Data as a Service (DaaS) website only.

How to enable pop-up windows in browsers
If you use this browser ... To enable pop-up windows for a DaaS website ...
Google Chrome Do one of the following:
  1. Open a Chrome browser.
  2. On the menu bar, click the Chrome menu icon ( ) and then click Settings.
  3. On the left side of page, click Privacy and security.
  4. In the Privacy and security section, click Site Settings.
  5. In the Content section, click Pop-ups and redirects.
  6. In the Allowed section, click Add.
  7. On the Add a site window that appears, enter the DaaS website URL, and click Add.
  8. Close the Settings page.

OR

If the pop-up blocker is enabled for the DaaS website, at the top of the page in the right corner of the address bar, the Pop-ups blocked icon.icon appears.

  1. Click thePop-ups blocked icon.icon.
  2. On the Pop-ups blocked window, click Always allow pop-ups and redirects from (the DaaS website URL appears here).
  3. Click Done.

When you click the icon, other available options are:

  • Continue blocking

    Select this option to enable the pop-up blocker again for this website.

  • Manage

    Select this option to open the Settings page. On this page, you can enable or disable the pop-up blocker for the DaaS website.
Microsoft Edge Do this:
  1. Open an Edge browser.

  2. On the menu bar, click the Edge Settings and more menu icon (...) and then click Settings .

  3. On the left side of the page, click Cookies and site permissions.
  4. In the All permissions section, click Pop-ups and redirects.
  5. In the Allow section, click Add.
  6. On the Add a site window, enter the DaaS website URL, and click Add.
  7. Close the Microsoft Edge browser window.
Mozilla Firefox Use one of the following methods:
  1. Open a Firefox browser.
  2. On the menu bar, click the Firefox menu icon () and then click Settings.
  3. On the left side of the page, click Privacy & Security.
  4. In the Permissions section, confirm that Block pop-up windows is enabled and click Exceptions.
  5. On the Allowed Websites - Pop-ups window, enter the DaaS website URL, and click Allow.
  6. Click Save Changes.
  7. Close the Firefox browser window.

OR

If the pop-up blocker is enabled for the DaaS website, this message appears at the top of the page:

Firefox prevented this site from opening a pop-up window.

  1. At the top of the page in the right corner, click the Options button that appears.
  2. Click Allow pop-ups for (the DaaS website URL appears here).

When you click the Options button, other available options are:

  • Edit pop-up blocker options.

    Use this option to enable or disable the pop-up blocker for the DaaS website.

  • Don't show this message when pop-ups are blocked.
